இதுவரை இரண்டு ஜாதிகளிலும் 38 பேர்கள் கைது செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளனர்

இந்த இரண்டு ஜாதி தலைவர்களையும் சந்தித்து அமைதி பேச்சுவார்த்தை நடத்த போலீஸார் முயல்கின்றனர்

Curfew relaxed in Udaipur locality

Jaipur, Sept. 16 (PTI): Curfew in Bodhrawadi locality in Udaipur, imposed after a clash between followers of two Muslim communities, was relaxed for two hours today allowing the residents to go out to buy essential commodities, police said.

"Curfew was relaxed for two hours, from 0730 a.m. to 0930 a.m, allowing people to go to market to purchase bread-butter, vegetables, milk and other essential commodities," Superintendent of Police Govind Gupta told PTI over phone.

So far, 38 people who indulged in brick-batting and violence were arrested, he said.

A high level peace talk between the two community leaders was underway to resolve the tension.

About 300 police personnels including Rajasthan Armed Constabulary jawans were posted in the area near Haathi pole of Udaipur, he added.

Five persons were injured when followers of two muslim communities clashed with each other over a dispute to offer namaz, forcing the authorities to impose curfew in Bodhrawadi area yesterday. The clash between followers of the Bohra sect and Shabab community took place over offering namaz.
