மசூதியில் ஆயுதங்களை பதுக்கி வைத்திருந்த மதானி கட்சி தொண்டர்கள் மூவர் கைது

என்.டி.எப் என்ற மதானி கட்சி தொண்டர்கள் மூவரை போலீஸார் கன்னூரில் ஏராளமான ஆயுதங்களுடன் கைது செய்தனர்.

இவர்கள் வாழப்பட்டணம் மசூதியின் அருகே ஏராளமான ஆயுதங்களை புதரில் மறைத்து வைத்திருந்தனர்.

கூடன் நௌஷத், மங்களா மஷோக், மங்கலா உனைஸ் ஆகிய மூவரையும் கைது செய்தபின்னால், அவர்கள் கொடுத்த துப்புக்களின் பேரில் பல கட்டிடங்களையும் வீடுகளையும் போலீஸார் ரெய்டு செய்து ஆயுதங்களை கைப்பற்றினர்.

ஆயுத சப்ளை தமிழ்நாட்டிலிருந்து நடந்திருக்கிறது.

KANNUR: Police arrested three NDF activists early on Thursday in connection with the seizure of a cache of swords from a bush near a mosque at Valapattanam a couple of weeks ago.

The youths arrested were Koodan Noushad, 25, an autorickshaw driver and a native of Azhikode, Mangala Mashhook, 24, of Mill Road at Valapattanam, and Mangala Unais, 23, of Palotkunnu-mpuram. The police had raided several buildings and houses in the area following the detection of the weapons.

The swords were purchased from Tamil Nadu according to the police sources. The arrested youths refused to be photographed when news photographers approached them.
