லஷ்கார் ஈ தொய்பா என்ற இஸ்லாமிய பயங்கரவாத குழு பஞ்சாப் முதல்வர் பிரகாஷ் சிங் பாதலை கொலை செய்யப்போகிறோம் என்று மிரட்டல் விடுத்துள்ளது.
ஜலந்தர் அமிரித்சார், பாடியாலா, ஜம்மு ஆகிய பகுதிகளில் ரயில் நிலையங்கள் தாக்கப்படும் என்றும், வைஷ்ணோதேவி கோவில் தகர்க்கப்படும் என்றும் அறிவித்துள்ளது.

Lashkar threatens to kill Punjab CM

Chandigarh, Oct 19: Terrorist group Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) has threatened to kill Punjab Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal. The militant group sent the warning in a letter sent to Divisional Railway Manager (DRM).

In its letter, LeT also threatened to blow up various railway stations, including in Jalandhar, Amritsar, Patiala and Jammu.

The letter further stated that Katra, near the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine in Jammu, could also be targeted.

The country has been rocked by several terror strikes recently. In the latest incident, a cinema hall in Punjab’s Ludhiana was hit by a bomb blast on October 14. Seven people were killed and 32 were injured in the blast.

In another incident, three people died and 28 were injured in a bomb blast on October 11 at the Ajmer Sharif Dragah in Rajasthan.
