முஸ்லீமாக மதம் மாற மறுத்த பெண்மணி

பெத்த ராஜய்யா என்பவர் துபாயில் வேலை செய்யும்போது இஸ்லாம் மதத்துக்கு மதம் மாறியிருக்கிறார்.

ஆந்திராவில் உள்ள மனைவியும் மகளும் மதம் மாற வேண்டும், தனக்கு ஒரு முஸ்லீம் ஆணைத்தான் மருமகனாக கொண்டுவர வேண்டும் என்று வற்புறுத்தி இருக்கிறார்.

மகள் கமலம்மா அதனை மறுத்தது மட்டுமின்றி, தன் தந்தைக்கு எதிராக போலீஸில் கம்ளைண்ட்டும் கொடுத்துவிட்டார்.

தந்தையின் மிரட்டலுக்கு அஞ்சாமல் தனியே வாழ முடிவு செய்து தாயும் மகளும் தனியே வாழ்கிறார்கள்.


Daughter of Islam convert complains for being forced to marry

Nizamabad, Andhra Pradesh, April 06: Conversion continues to be serious issue in India....in a latest case...a man from Nizamabad district in Andhra Pradesh, who is working in Dubai and who got converted to Islam there, is now forcing his daughter to marry a Muslim boy. The daughter not only rejected the proposal outright but also lodged a complaint with the local police.

The girl named Kamalamma has just given her plus two exams. She rejected the proposal to marry a Muslim boy. Her father Pedda Rajaiah who converted to Islam and changed his name to Sheikh Abdul. He has been living in Dubai for the past 20 years.

As per Kamalamma, “We are Harijans..but my father converted to Islam and now wants me to marry a Muslim...I said no. My ambition is to become a doctor...come what may I will realise my dream.”

Sheikh Abdul has threatened his wife Posani of dire consequences if she doesn`t convince their daughter to marry the Muslim boy. Posani too had resisted her husband`s attempts to convert her to Islam.

Sheikh Abdul has threatened to sever ties with his family if he does not get a Muslim son-in-law.

The issue reached the local panchayat. A complaint has been lodged by the girl and her mother wit the local police.

Right now both Kamalamma and her mother Posani are living separately with their relatives.
