700 பேர்கள் இந்துமதத்தில் இணைந்தனர்

BALANGIR: About 700 persons returned to Hindu fold at a sanctification ceremony of Arya Samaj organised on Sunday.

The event, organised by Dharma Jagaran Samanwaya Samiti, was attended by 200 families belonging to different communities from 16 villages in the district.

A ‘sanskar yajna’ was organised and all those to be converted were given the sacred thread in presence of Laxamananda Saraswati, a religious leader from Phulbani.

Chief of Akhil Bharatiya Dharma Jagaran Rajendra Singh said around 700 persons converted to Hinduism last year in Dunguripali block and this year, the process began in Agalpur block.
