இந்தியா ஒளிர்கிறது என்று பாஜக கூறியபோது கிண்டல் செய்தவர்கள் தங்களது முகத்தை எங்கே வைத்துக்கொள்வார்கள்?

இதோ காங்கிரஸ் ஆட்சியின் விளைவு. காங்கிரஸ், கம்யூனிஸ்ட், திமுக கட்சிகள் இந்தியா வளமையாக இருந்தபோது இந்தியா வளமையாக இல்லை என்று கிண்டல் செய்து கொண்டிருந்தார்கள்.

இப்போது சொல்லுங்கள்? 60 ஆண்டுகள் காங்கிரஸ் ஆட்சிக்கு பின்னால் பாஜக ஆட்சியில் ஒருவழியாக இந்தியா உதயமாக ஆரம்பித்தது. சீனாவின் எடுபிடிகளும், அமெரிக்காவின் எடுபிடிகளும் இங்கே குயோ முயோ என்று கத்தி ஆட்சியை பிடித்தார்கள். மாமன் மச்சானுக்கு பெட் ரோல் பங்க் வைக்க மத்திய அமைச்சரும், பிரதமரும் சேர்ந்து ஊழல் செய்யும் ஆட்சி.

இப்போது சொல்லுங்கள். எந்த ஆட்சி இந்திய மக்களின் நலன் கருதி செயல்பட்ட ஆட்சி?

The Bhartiya Janata Party has led twin verbal assault on both, the ruling Congress government for alleging mismanagement of the food economy and its indifference towards the need to check prices and its allies Left parties for its attempt to forge third political alternative.

Party national spokesperson and MP Ravi Shankar Prasad blamed the UPA government solely responsible for drifting aam aadmi (common people) towards the food drought and the spiralling prices has badly affected the aam aadmi, which clearly contradicts the UPA government’s aam aadmi theory.

It is now not the aam aadmi party rather the party working for khas (special class wealthy people).

It is because prices of cereals, pulses, edible oil, and other essential daily commodities are continued to mount affecting poorest people the most.

The ‘era of food surplus’ during the National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA) regime has been dramatically turned into the ‘era of food scarcity’ under the UPA government corresponding with the continuous spiralling of prices in the last four years.



The situation has now been so upsetting that the prices of essential food articles have shown an alarming rise even after the presentation of the much-hyped so-called pro-people budget in March.



He maintained in this regard the regime of NDA mainly for the years 2003-04 when the country had recorded the highest buffer stock of food grains that prompted the government to export it, as plenty of food items were available at reasonable prices.



In contrast during UPA regime the wheat were imported at much higher prices than it had purchased from the Indian farmers. While the pulses were allowed to be exported at the time its price were touching alarmingly high.



The situation would further be worsened with the increased money supply as a consequence of the Sixth Pay Commission and if the government curb money supply the economy of country would go down.



To deal with this serious crisis the government must form the policy differentiating the long-term and short-term measures, said the Party president Rajnath Singh.



Attack on Left parties



The BJP also attacked on the Left parties for their “opportunistic nature” by saying that party has no consensus on any common issue; its leaders go on different routes and there is no uniformity in its saying and doing.



The saffron party rejected the idea of ‘third front’ and emphasised that the country was headed for a bipolar polity of Congress and BJP. There is no space for any third pole. The party lambasted the Left parties for showing no courage for quitting the UPA government if it were not agree with the government’s policy and now in case of failure of meeting its demand exploring the idea of forging third front with UNPA; it shows an astute nature of the Left parties.
