'CPM deals in black money'
Pioneer News Service | Kozhikode
The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha has termed the CPI(M) as a political party that has degenerated into an organisation which is engaged in money laundering through "bucket collection".
Yuva Morcha State president K Surendran said here on Monday that the "baby food" party secretaries in Kerala and Delhi were seeing the governmental power as an opportunity to siphon off money. He alleged that CPI(M) leaders had been acting as middlemen for the transaction of the hawala money flowing into Kerala.
Inaugurating a dharna organised against the "Marxists-mafia-Madani" group, Surendran said that Local Administration Minister Paloli Muhammad Kutty, who had claimed that he did not own any land during the elections, had bought with Rs 60 lakh. The land, which would actually cost Rs 2 crore, put on auction by the Kadambazhippuram Service Cooperative Bank.
He also said it was clear that the money from real estate dealer M Faris Aboobacker was being circulated with the connivance of Marxist leaders. He warned CPI(M) State secretary that the destiny awaiting him was the same as that of Nikolai Ceausescu, who was "gunned down by the people of Romania".
