Suicide attack in a crowded bazaar in eastern Afghanistan.
A suicide bomber has blown himself up in a crowded market in eastern Afghanistan, killing 4 civilians and 2 Afghan soldiers.

About a dozen other civilians were also wounded in the attack that happened near the Pakistani border.

According to officials, the target of the attack in the district of Bharmal appeared to be Afghan soldiers who were shopping in the bazaar.

The blast was the second of the kind in two days in the restive region.

Three international soldiers were also killed in a similar incident at a bridge construction site in the neighboring Paktia province on Tuesday.
