சவுதி அரேபியப் பெண்மணி இரண்டு ஆண்களை திருமணம் செய்ததால், கல்லாலடித்து கொல்லப்பட இருக்கிறார்.

சேக் அப்துல் மொசிகேன் அல் அபிகான் என்ற ஷாரியா நீதிமன்ற் தலைவர், சவுதி அரேபிய சாரியா சட்டப்படி இந்த பெண்மணி கல்லால்டித்து கொல்லப்படவேண்டியவர் என்று தீர்ப்பளித்திருக்கிறார்.

சில மாதங்களுக்கு முன்னர், 110 வயதான ஒரு முதியவர் தனது 85 வயது மனைவி இருக்கும்போதே ஒரு 30 வயது பெண்மணியை மணந்துள்ளார்.

RIYADH -- A Saudi court is trying a woman for allegedly marrying two men, an illegal act under the Islamic law enforced in the kingdom where a man is permitted several wives, the Elaph news website reported on Tuesday.

Sheikh Abdul Mohsen al-Abikan, a member of Saudi Arabia's advisory Shura council and a justice ministry official, said the unnamed woman should be stoned to death for adultery, Elaph reported.

Under Saudi Arabia's strictly-enforced Sharia law, men are allowed to have as many as four wives, as long as they can support them and provide for them equally.

Local media reported in March that a 110-year-old Saudi man had taken a second wife, aged 30, because his first, 85-year-old, wife no longer satisfied his needs.
