ஆந்திர மின் நிலையத்தை மாவோயிஸ்டு கம்யூனிஸ்டுகள் தாக்கி அங்கு வேலை செய்துகொண்டிருந்த தொழிலாளர்களை கண்ணிவெடி வைத்து தாக்கினர்.

Two AP Power employees hurt in landmine blast

Hyderabad, Aug. 8 (PTI): Suspected Maoists today set off a landmine injuring two Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation employees at Sileru in Visakhapatnam district, police said.

The blast was to protest arrest of tribals in the area who were in police custody on the charges of providing shelter and extending help to Maoists, police said.

The extremists also attacked a check-post and set afire its records. While fleeing from the scene, they left a letter demanding the release of the tribals from police custody, they added.
