தாஜிகிஸ்தான் நாட்டின் உச்ச நீதிமன்றத்தில் வெடிகுண்டு வெடித்தது. இஸ்லாமிய தீவிரவாதிகளுக்கும் அரசாங்கத்துக்கும் இடையே நடந்த உள்நாட்டு போர் முடிந்த பின்னால், இப்படி வெடித்திருப்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

Tajikistan's Supreme Court on Sunday suffered a low level blast, which authorities said was the handiwork of "terrorists" aimed at creating panic.

There were no injuries or deaths in the explosion, which occurred near the court's main chamber where several windows were shattered.

"An explosion occurred in the courtyard of the Supreme Court without causing any injuries," Dushabne's prosecutor Kurbonali Mukhabbatov told AFP.

"I think it was a terrorist act aimed at creating panic," he said. "We are going to launch an enquiry."
Experts said between 200 and 300 grams of TNT were used in the explosive device.

Blasts are rare in the former Soviet republic which will on June 27 mark the tenth anniversary of a peace pact that ended a five-year civil war between the Islamist opposition and the government.
