An explosion in the town of Bannu in Pakistan's North-West Frontier Province left one person dead and 12 others injured June 21, GEO TV reported. The blast, at a center of the apolitical conservative religious movement Tablighi Jamaat in northwestern Pakistan, occurred when a suicide bomber threw a hand grenade after being intercepted by a guard. The bomber survived the blast and is being questioned by police.
