துருக்கியில் ஜாதிவெறி காரணமாக காதலித்த பெண் கொலை

ஒரு பெண் குடும்ப கௌரவத்துக்கு ஊறு ஏற்படுத்தும் வகையில் வேறு ஜாதி பையனை காதலித்ததால், அந்தபெண்ணின் சகோதரனே அந்த பெண்ணை கொலை செய்திருக்கிறார்.

துருக்கி, சௌதி அரேபியா, சிரியா, ஜோர்டான் போன்ற நாடுகளில் ஜாதி அல்லது கிளான் விட்டு வெளியே திருமணம் அல்லது காதல் செய்யும் பெண்கள் இவ்வாறு கொல்லப்படுகிறார்கள்.

அப்படி கொல்லப்படுவதற்கு ஹானர் கில்லிங் அல்லது கௌரவக்கொலை என்று பெயர். இந்த கொலை அந்த அரசாங்கங்களால் தீவிரமாக தண்டிக்கப்படுவதில்லை.

Brother is suspected to have killed his sister


Previously convicted Onur Taş killed his sister, who is a high school last grade student, and her boyfriend.

The murder took place while Hülya Taş and her boyfriend was walking hand in hand. Two guns were found at the crime scene. Besides the brother, the father and the uncle has been arrested for fear that the murderer might be any of them.




Suspicion of honour killing


The furious brother who saw his sister with her boyfriend killed them both. Two guns were found at the scene, and five member of the family were arrested.

The girl had ran away with her boyfriend one week before when her brother killed both she and her boyfriend. After the murder, five members of the family, including the brother, father and uncle, were arrested.

Hülya Taş, the sister, ran away with her boyfriend, Ömer Karaboğa last Tuesday. But in reciprocation to a promise that they will be married, she was to be returned home, though she did not want. When Hülya's brother saw them together in the street, killed them both with his gun. Ömer Karaboğa died instantly; Hülya was taken to the hospital but died there.

Two guns were found at the crime scene. For fear of a honour killing, the father and the uncle were arrestted, too. The uncle is also suspected to be the murderer.
