காஷ்மீரில் முஸ்லீம் பயங்கரவாதிகள் ஒரு போலீஸ் இன்ஸ்பெக்டரையும், வன்முறை வழியை விட்டு ஒதுங்கிய முன்னாள் தீவிரவாதியின் வீட்டில் நுழைந்து சரமாரியாக சுட்டதில் அவரும் கொல்லப்பட்டார்கள். அவரது மனைவி படுகாயமடைந்தார்.

Militants shoot dead two people in Kashmir

Militants shot dead a policeman and another person in India-controlled Kashmir's Ramban area, Indo- Asian News Service (IANS) reported Monday.

A group of armed militants went to Moila village in the mountainous Ramban area late Sunday night. They barged into the house of Head Constable Khurshid and sprayed bullets on him, killing him on the spot.

IANS further reported that the militants then went to the house nearby of one Mohammad Salim militant who had surrendered recently, and fired indiscriminately, killing Salim and injuring his wife.

A superintendent of Police of Ramban, Basant Rath, told IANS that security forces had launched a search for the militants.
