பிராடு செய்ததற்காக ஒரு சந்தோஷ் மாதவன் என்ற கேரளா சாமியார் கைது செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளார்.

துபாயில் வசிக்கும் பெண்மணி ஒருவர் தன்னை 40 லட்ச ரூபாய் அளவுக்கு ஏமாற்றியிருப்பதாக கேரளா போலீஸில் புகார் கொடுத்தார். அதனால் இவர் கைது செய்யபப்ட்டுள்ளார்.

இந்து மதத்தின் மீது மக்கள் வைத்திருக்கும் மரியாதையை உபயோகப்படுத்திக்கொள்ள இப்படிப்பட்ட போலி சாமியார்கள் கிளம்பிவிடுகிறார்கள்.

இப்படிப்பட்டவர்கள் கைது செய்யப்படவேண்டும்.

ஆனாலும், இந்த சாமியார் பிராடு செய்தததினால், அதிக பட்சம் நன்றாக வீடு வாங்கி சந்தோஷமாக இருப்பார் அவ்வளவுதான்.

ஆனால் இதே அளவு பணம், பயங்கரவாத இஸ்லாமிய அமைப்புகளுக்கு சென்றிருந்தால், எந்த ஊரில் எங்கே எவ்வளவு பேரை கொல்ல குண்டுகள் வெடிக்கும் என்பதை யார் அறிவார்?

Police arrest Kerala's revered god man

The Kerala police have arrested state's one of the most revered god man Santosh Madhavan for being involved in an alleged fraud case.

The police is interrogating Madhavan but have refused to disclose the location.

The thirty-five-year-old god man of central Kerala Santosh Madhavan was running for cover from the police ever since he was accused of fraud by a Dubai-based Indian woman.

The woman accused Madhavan of cheating her of Rs 40 lakh. The police raided his 16-suite ashram in Kochi on Sunday and found pornographic CDs, foreign liquor, ganja and tiger skin.

Earlier, the Kochi police commissioner Manoj Abraham had said that they registered a case under the wild life protection act, which is a non-bailable offence and Madhavan can be arrested on these charges.

Santosh Madhavan, on his return from Dubai in 2002, had founded a trust called 'Shanthitheeram' and built a palatial ashram in Kochi. The ashram was used as a guesthouse to accommodate his clients, which he claims include politicians, film stars, policemen and businessmen.

Madhavan's high-profile lifestyle came crashing last week when a Malayalam newsmagazine reported that his name figured on the Interpol list on wanted persons. He, however, tried to defend himself initially.

''Who is he I don't know but I am a Swami. Several reports are appearing in the media against me. These are aimed at tarnishing my image and to show me in a bad light. A leader belonging to the ruling front had demanded money promising to solve this Interpol issue. But I told him that I don't have any,'' he had said.

Madhavan has now been on the run for the last three days. The police say that they will arrest him soon but the episode has exposed the politician-police-businessmen nexus that reportedly thrived with his blessings.
