பாதிரியார் படிப்பு படிக்க வந்த ராபின் ஜான் என்பவர் தற்கொலை செய்துகொண்டார் என்று ஊற்றி மூட கோட்டயம் மார்தோமா செமினரி என்ற பாதிரியார் பள்ளிக்கூடம் முயற்சி செய்தது.

இந்த மாணவரின் பெற்றோர் தங்கள் பையன் தற்கொலை செய்துகொள்ள எந்த காரணமும் இல்லை. அது ராக்கிங் கொலைதான் என்று தாங்கள் நம்புவதாக பத்திரிக்கையாளர்களை கூட்டி தெரிவித்துள்ளனர்

Kottayam: So far the unnatural death of Nuns were haunting the Church, Now here comes the Murder of a Christian seminary student following ragging by fellow student priests.-

Parents of the victim, Robin John (24) conducted a press meet here and accused Marthoma Seminary in Kottayam for covering up the murder of Robin by fellow students as a suicide.

Robin John joined this Seminary in June 2nd after completing MSW degree from BangaloreUniversity in first rank. Within two weeks the senior priest students send him to God !

Robin's parents told newsmen that there was no reason why their son should commit suicide. They suspected that Robin's death was related to the cruel ragging he should have undergone in the hostel of the seminary. They said the seminary, though an institution for moulding priests, was infamous for several incidents of ragging.

Though ragging in normal colleges are often exposed, this inhumane practices in religious institutions are often gone unnoticed. In 2007 January also a priest student was killed but no investigations were held

In a state where law itself is in freezer when coming to the probe of nearly 1000 unnatural death in a Christian Mafia centre, it will be too much to expect that those behind the murder of Robin will be bought before law of land
