Madonna loves it, so does Geri and even Paris - and now it seems David Beckham will be getting into yoga.

The footy star's new team LA Galaxy like to warm up with a spot of the ancient art.

Newly signed Galaxy recruit Abel Xavier told the Daily Star: "We prepare for games with yoga sessions! It's true, yoga. We do it at Galaxy's sports centre. It came as a surprise for me.

"Between games, and before every training session, the club gives us yoga sessions in order to relax the mind, muscles, the body."

The 34-year-old also said the Becks will have to get used to journalists in the dressing room.

He added: "The biggest surprise was seeing the press in the dressing room. Galaxy's set-up consists of 25 people and there were about 50 journalists, with microphones, tape-recorders, television cameras. Imagine the chaos."
