ஜெட்டாவில் ஒரு முஸ்லீம் இமாமை பெண்களை பாலுறவு பலாத்காரம் செய்ததற்காக கைது செய்திருக்கிறார்கள். இவர் குரானை ஓதுவதன் மூலம் வியாதியான பெண்களை குணப்படுத்துபவர்.

இவர் இவ்வாறு பலாத்காரம் செய்கிறார் என்று பல பெண்கள் போலீஸில் புகார் செய்ததன் காரணமாக இவர் கைது செய்யப்பட்டிருக்கிறார்.

Riyadh - Police in the Saudi city of Jeddah have arrested a Muslim preacher accused of sexual harassment while allegedly attempting to cure sick women by reading from the Koran.

At the mosque where he had preached for 20 years, the 62-year-old imam had advertised a "miracle cure" for sicknesses by reading from the Koran, the Saudi newspaper Okaz reported on Monday.

But the preacher had also repeatedly subjected them to intimate touching. At first, most of the women had been too ashamed to report the man, head of a family whose home was next to the mosque.
