Three girls among four kidnapped

LAHORE – About four persons including three girls were kidnapped from different parts of the City on Thursday.
As per details, a young girl Aroosa was allegedly kidnapped by an Imam of a local mosque in Mozang area whereas one Shakeela along with his minor daughter (M) was picked by the accused namely Asif and his wife on unascertained reasons in Nawankot police area on the same day. Similarly, Sheikh Asif, brother-in-law of one Qasim of Ichra, was also abducted by unidentified accused on Thursday. Police concerned have lodged different cases with no arrest so far. Further investigations are underway.

Man attempts to rape daughter-in-law: A man allegedly attempted to rape his newly married daughter-in-law at Esa Nagar in Kahna police area on Thursday.
According to police sources, Sonia tied the knot with one Rafaqat Masih, son of Shaukat Masih, few days back. They said Shaukat, however, started gazing Sonia with bad intention and here on the day of incident he attempted to rape her. “She started screaming as a result of which dozens of neighbourers gathered on the spot whereas the accused fled the scene,” a police investigator said. He said the case had been narrated in quite negative perspective but the facts would be established after collecting necessary evidences.
