தாய்லாந்து பௌத்தர்களை கொன்று குவிக்கும் முஸ்லீம் பயங்கரவாதிகள்

தாய்லாந்தில் முஸ்லீம்கள் சிறுபான்மையினர். அவர்கள் அங்கேயும் வழக்கம்போல பெரும்பான்மையினரான பௌத்தர்கள் மீது குண்டுகள் வைத்து கொல்கிறார்கள்.
இப்போது வெள்ளிக்கிழமை மாலை மூன்று இடங்களில் குண்டுகளை வைத்து கொலைகளை செய்ததில் 2 பேர்கள் இறந்துள்ளார்கள். ஐந்து பேர் காயமடைந்துள்ளார்கள்.

2 dead, 13 wounded in serial Narathiwat bombings

NARATHWAT, June 24 – Two workers died and five others were wounded in a bombing and another eight officials overall were wounded in a total of three explosions Friday at three locations in Tak Bai district, in restive Narathiwat province, according to Pol Col Nitinai Langyanai of Tak Bai Police Station.

The first roadside bomb was detonated near where an irrigation work team was digging a ditch. Arriving at the scene of the incident, the provincial bomb disposal unit and forensic police team found two irrigation workers dead. Meanwhile, the five others wounded were sent to hospital by villagers earlier.

In the meantime, the squads were informed of another bombing incident, one kilometre from the first site. They rushed to the crime scene and found an injured soldier who later has been transferred to Tak Bai Hospital.

Demolition experts collected fragments of the homemade bomb, built a fire extinguisher with a total weight of 20kg. The explosive device was buried by the roadside and was triggered by a cellphone.

During the inspection, the teams also found a suspicious radio antenna and electric wire emerging from the ground. The objects were found to be a bomb placed in a metal box, weighing totally five kg.

While the authorities were trying to dispose the bomb, it exploded and injured seven officials.

Currently all the injured, both officials and workers, are under medical treatment at Naradhiwasrajanagarindra Hospital.

The unrest in the Thailand’s deep South, particularly in the three southernmost provinces of Yala, Pattani and Narahiwat, has been re-erupted since 2004 with a string of bombings and shootings occurred on an almost daily basis. So far, the violence has killed more than 4,300 victims, including residents and government officials. (MCOT online news)
