Peseyie re-elected Speaker of Nagaland

Kohima (PTI): The ruling Democratic Alliance of Nagaland (DAN) candidate Kiyanilie Peseyie was on Tuesday elected speaker of the 11th assembly for the second time.

Peseyie defeated Congress nominee Sendichuba by 14 votes in the 60-member house.

Peseyie was re-elected from Westyern Angami seat i the just-concluded election in the state.

Pro-tem Speaker Neikiesalie Kire conducted the vote after administering oath to the newly elected members of the house.
